There are situations, crossroads, and experiences in life that challenge us.
They challenge us to look more closely, change, or let go.
Ideally, we have family and friends by our side who support us with advice and action.
However, there are also topics that urge us to deal with them alone.
For these, we may wish for an independent, neutral, and competent guide to help us reflect and find our way.
As a systemic coach, with over 25 years of practical experience, business mediator, and grief counselor (in training at BVT e.V.), I offer to walk part of the way with you.
Before you begin, I encourage you to reflect on your current location and desired destination. When I know where I come from, where I am, and where I want to go (and with whom), more often than not, a changed or more concrete goal or new perspectives and options emerge.
I support you with coaching methods, complemented by consulting and mentoring, as long and as often as you wish.
Accompaniment for a Time means to me, that I am motivated to accompany you only as long as you find it helpful on your journey. Maybe we will work together for just one hour to determine your starting point. Or we may meet at different milestones at regular (or irregular) intervals?
In any case, our collaboration will be tailored to your individual situation.
Life cannot always be planned. I’ve experienced that myself.
My Professional Career Path
My career path has led me through many stages to my current goal: accompanying and supporting people on their personal and professional life paths.
Was the path here planned and straight? No.
And that’s the most beautiful thing about the path I’ve been allowed to walk.
On the way, I gathered beautiful, confusing, stressful, and painful experiences. I worked with many people from different cultures, nations, and hierarchical levels. This allowed me to mature, learn, and recognize my life’s purpose.
I have continuously educated myself and will never stop. It’s simply too much fun, and there’s always so much more to discover.
My Education Journey
From my first training in the UK in co-active coaching (Lisa Wynn, Corporate Potential), to long-term training as a systemic coach (Zfsb Center for Systemic Research and Consulting GmbH, Dr. Hans Rudi Fischer), my training as a business mediator (Monika Oboth, Christian Bähner), to my most recent training as a certified grief counselor (Petra Sutor, BVT e.V.), learning and my passion for these topics have never let go of me.
It is a personal goal of mine to support people in understanding and accepting themselves, understanding others, enabling communication between people, and learning to let go, so something new can come into life—accepting change.
In Brief: My Journey from the Career Wish "Consultant" (Helping People Make Good Decisions) to My Current Self-Employment and Vocation as a Coach/Business Mediator/Grief Counselor
alongside my business partner, Jutta Schneider, under the shared umbrella of Schneider & Peters Consulting GbR.
A degree in business administration with a focus on international management and organization (University of Mannheim) seemed like a good starting point for the consulting journey.
However, I started at IBM in Scotland in customer care because my second strong wish was to work in an international/English-speaking environment. After returning to Germany, I moved into HR consulting with Korn Ferry International. From there, I moved into human resources at Logica (now CGI). In a very international environment, I had the opportunity to develop from an international recruiter to HR director. Even after joining SAP, I stayed in human resources, supporting national and international management teams in all areas of HR management.
After many years of experience with leadership and HR topics, I shifted roles again and worked with various management teams as an internal strategic consultant in strategic and operational business management
